It looks like Paul Stankard but is it true?
PS Cane could be Patrick Stern!

Looks like a genuine Paul Stankard pre-1976 cane to me, also the weight looks ok to me. Patrick Stern's canes (I have to admit, I have never seen one "in the flesh" - only in Andy Dohan's book) are completely different.

Here is one in our collection for comparison purposes.

 "Forget-me-Not" floral, 1982, 3 1/8"w x 2"t, 16.7 ounces. Note the ID cane and engraving.

The PS cane on your eBay weight is accurate for this time frame, and the ID engraving matches the methodology of Paul Stankard.

I would give the subject weight a true positive as a Stankard.

PS: the price as of now is "steal"
