Mod Kevin H, why was this topic moved from Glass Books?
« on: December 12, 2014, 08:05:54 PM »
Am posting this so its not buried somewhere. I posted the following topic "Large sale of Books & Catalogs, West Virginia Museum of American Glass" to the Glass Books section only to find you moved it to Glass Events. Why Events? Is it because it is a glass reference book sale? Is that an event in your estimation? Should I have put this in Glass Market Place because its a sale? Just making certain I understand where a book/reference sale should be posted.

Hi Ken,

Yes, as a "glass reference book sale", I considered it an event, rather than the type of sale for which the Market Place forum is used.

As it was not simply information about a book, or books, the Glass Books forum seemed the wrong place to me.

Thanks for the clarification Kevin. I originally thought Glass Market Place since it was for a book sale then I saw the Glass Books section & saw there was a "Chance Additions" book that was for sale in Glass Books so I thought well this must be the right section. Ken
