Early goblet with bell-shaped bowl , clear glass with just a drizzling of silver chloride for decoration. This is the plainest piece of Mdina I have seen!  5 3/4 inches tall.

Not a common colourway at all - and most unusual to have the bell shaped bowl on a small goblet!
It's a practical colourway for a goblet, it won't "discolour" the contents. 
The only piece I have in this clear crizzle pattern is a side-striped Lollipop.

Thanks Sue, I do use it and its my favorite glass ...cheers..slurp    So it's not drizzled at all

I bet it feels quite good in the hand. Smooth and substantial. Something to quaff from.

Yes, it's great and the flared lip is much more comfortable (and there is no dribbling out of the side of the mouth ...only after five glasses of wine  ) . What I love about it is that at different angles you can see a whole blue constellation of finer lines and dots along with the browns and it's like looking at the night sky .  The foot isn't perfectly round and the bowl hasn't been mounted on the stem at exactly the right spot but it doesn't matter to me , it's just a pleasure

That hand made aspect gives it the charm and appeal for me, someone has sweated over making it (probably literally) rather than just pushing a button to start a production line.
