Huge Mdina Earthtones vase

Almost a foot tall weighs 2.5 kg not signed but remains of an Artisan's Centre label.
Any thoughts on age does this design shape  have a name could it be MDG you all the usual questions

Not MDG, definitely Mdina, probably '80s. Not that uncommon, but are quite often found with the flange broken off and the top ground down.

This one is slightly unusual in having a relatively short neck (or big body) compared to most.
