Iconic Copier decanter with hanging stopper
« on: October 14, 2014, 01:34:25 PM »
Hi All,
I managed to get my mitts on a pristine decanter in Leerdam crystal. This one is the ultimate iconic decanter designed by Andries Copier in (I think) 1963 which is in every book about him.

While looking it up I found it is still in production:

... and yes I was as shocked as you are.

The decanter has a very discreet logo from the Fokker aircraft industry - which went under in 1996 if I remember well.

Now if there is anyone with the ambition to own this glorious piece, make me an offer I cannot resist.

Photographs on demand, of course.

Ivo
