I'm assuming this is mid-century Chinese, but it's an interesting piece.
The canes were left very very long, and arranged as a splay pattern, looking like an imploded flower.
The look is very common to fumed artisan marbles, but this piece is a full paperweight size, 3" wide, 2-1/2" high.
While I'm still very new to this wild world of glass, I haven't seen a piece using the canes in this fashion before. Certainly scrambled rods/canes are common enough, but the very long canes with the exposed distinct ends throw me a bit.
Am I right that it's clearly 50's or 60's Chinese?
Was this a common design, or somewhat unique?
Thanks for any feedback.
