opaline style spiral twist vase help please. ID = Caithness

Anyone recognise this piece of glass, it's heavy with some base wear, I have has a good look myself and drawn a blank.

It's 5 inches in height, 3 1/2 across the rim and 2 1/2 across the base.

I think they are quite modern, also seen in pink and blue. No opaline in yours or the pink ones though

Made by Caithness, called Tartan Twist. Designed by Alastair MacIntosh and made between 1996 and 1998 - all info from Mark Hill's book on Caithness Glass.
