Hi - Can anyone help with this cased teardrop vase
« on: February 14, 2015, 07:19:18 PM »
Hi All.  Hope someone can help.  Just found this cased teardrop vase in the North West of England.  It's blown (I think - happy to be corrected though) as it has a number of small air bubbles especially near the casing.  Polished base with no sign of a pontil though.  It measures 23.5 cms tall (9.25 inches), 6.5 cms (2.5 inches) wide at the widest point near the base and is 4 cms (just over 1.5 inches) deep (again at the widest part at the base).  Heavy for its size at 424 gms ((14.9 ozs).  Any help much appreciated.
