The other pot with the lid insert is this one... different pot and lid, but style of lid matches the one Dirk found on eBay, and the glass on the eBay one matches the glass in my original pot at the top of this topic.  This one is also an unknown and is a darker green than the first one.

The second one certainly looks like a "Regent of London" pot, very nice too!

I think the style of lid decoration on the second one is what's called Guilloché?

Anne, I don't know much apart from an Ebay search brings up loads of vanity items, sets including pots like your last one, and hairbrush/mirror type sets, often beautifully boxed and vintage, presumably made in London, seemingly very nicely made, and of varying qualities and prices.

Often the green pots with the guilloche (enamelling? which can be real or fake?) or tapestry lids or even pink guilloche are not listed as Regent of London but I've seen some that are, and I assume some sellers don't know what they are selling. There are also sets with candlesticks and trays, made of a metal frame with maybe a glass insert over the tapestry or material? Guilloche jar search bring up pots also.

I suspect Regent of London is nothing more than a brand name and that its products were made all over by many companies and that it may not have had exclusive rights to all the things it branded.

I have 2 of the darker ones.  Mine have the same patterned lids on them (mirrored on the inside of lid), as your ones pictured here.  My lids are a very dull silver with the exact same pattern as shown here in your pics above.  Only issue with mine is; the pattern on the lids appears to be slightly smudged in places. 
On close examination the pattern appears that it may be some kind of a paper foil???
On the base of each jar it reads; Made in England.
I can't say for sure, but when I purchased these on ebay (approx. 8 yrs ago), something is telling me the item description stated that these are "Bagley" items?
Anyone have any positive info on these, I'd also be greatful to hear your comment.

Correction, when I mentioned tapestry, I should have said petit point.

Here is a green glass bottle in a similar style to your last pot Anne, one pic shows Made in England stamped on the bottom, I have seen these bottles with a guilloche lid too.

I'm new to all this, so please excuse my lack of technical knowledge.
I have tried to post some pics for you, showing the "Made In England" on the bottom of the bowls, but it tells me my files are too big.  Even tried to post the pics individually, still to no avail....
