Tigerchips:
Just noticed that the mark shown in the link i posted has something inbetween the words 'Regent' and 'Products'. Could it be a registration number maybe?

Anne:
OK I "think" I have solved the DS monogram mystery, but would welcome thoughts from anyone with access to old Pottery and Glass Gazettes for a bit of checking if possible please to see if this company shows up with a Regent of London advert connection ... this is what I have so far (plus the other LG notices that fall between 1982-1985) ...

It doesn't tell us who made the glass but by pinning down the DS it might help us take the search a bit further, and gives us a name to search for in glass company production records if we can find them.

Anne:
Ooohh well done, TC, that is just what I was hoping to find. I forgot to check Grace's Guide earlier!!! That pins this down nicely. Now all we need to know is who made their glass for them! :)

Anne:
Just had a thought that, as the company didn't close until after 1983, its 87 Regent Street premises might be shown in my 1980 London information guide, and sure it is... listed as Regent Jewellers - hence Regent of London!
