Hello and welcome to this glassy corner of the web.

Your stoppered bottle is certainly no Holmegaard - it is much more likely that it was made in Empoli, Italy in the 1950s / 1960s. The glass is beerbottle amber = most glass made in Empoli at the time was wine bottle green. Google for Empoli Verde and you'll see the style of it. The brown variety is seldom seen, but the stopper is a sort of giveaway...
