Unusual Spatter Mdina Vase
« on: February 25, 2015, 11:04:36 AM »
Hi ,

This has a plastic label and signed Mdina to base with some wear.
Frosted , spatter and cane work.
Measures 20cm
1980s 90s or later ?
End of day ?
Other than the shape I can not find another like it.

Thanks for any help here , Dave.

2000s more like I think. Not end of day; standard production item

Thanks lustrous , helpful as always :)
If this had been unsigned with no label I'd never had guessed Mdina !
Cheers , Dave.

I can't add anything, information-wise, I would agree, into the '00s
I do have a small squat vase in this design - more because I could not believe it was Mdina apart form the plastic label and the writing on the base. I was 100% confident in my initial assessment that it was contemporary Chinese.

It was something about the colour combination.  ;D
My little bit isn't frosted, though, from what I can remember. (It's packed away, it is "an example".)
