janna:
recently posted query, but didn't know how to add a photo. i have two up, closeups of the pattern of this compote. here are the URLs.

Anne:
Janna, if you look below the gallery image you'll see a box that says File Information... the last but one line says URL - that's the line you need to copy and paste into your posts for the message. You don't even need to add the URL or the IMG tags to these URLS. :)

URLs corrected for you:
http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-2340
http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-2339

No idea who made your compote but it's rather nice.

Sid:
Hello:

This comport is in the Admiral pattern produced by Bryce, Higbee & Co of Homestead, PA.  The pattern was introduced in 1899.  Apparently production was continued by the J.B. Higbee Glass Co. after they bought the assets of Bryce, Higbee in 1907.
