Signature Identification Help Please?
« on: February 13, 2015, 11:26:29 AM »
Can anyone identify the script on the base of this vase? I cannot make it out, at all, despite hours of staring at it from various angles in different lights. The vase stands 23.5cm tall. I would be most grateful for any suggestions.

Possibly Kristalunie Maastrich and designed by Max Verboeket.

Thank you for your very swift and helpful reply. Armed with your reference, I can clearly make out Max Verboeket and Maastricht.

The other word is "Cocquille" - the name of the range which was sold until ca. 1972.

Hi Ivo, thank you for telling me the name of the range. I've had another look, but I can still only make it Max Verboeket in picture 2 and Maastricht in pictures 3 and 4. As you are in the Netherlands I bow to your superior knowledge, but can you really make out one of the words to be Cocquille?
