It looks like studio glass, but as you're across the pond, I'm afraid I have not a clue where to start.
Are there any marks on the base - and what does the base look like?
We can tell a lot from looking at bottoms - even ones which seem to have nothing on them - the sort of "nothing" can be very helpful.

That is a small button pontil mark - a blob of hot glass was put over the pontil scar to cover it up. It's a very neat and tidy way of finishing something off, suggesting quality. (as if that wasn't quite obvious anyway!)

I don't think it's lampwork, not with a pontil mark, and not if it's 5" in diameter - the glass would be too thick.

U.S. studio glass circa 70s-80;s. there were about a dozen+ studios making this type of ware at this time. Quite few were in California and others spread across the country. Hard to strictly identify maker as there were many and they used all kinds of glass as their color suppliers beside making their own.
