I call this one the curly M variant.

I have seen it around. Normally on mid to late 70s items.

Might be a good idea to set up an open-ended thread with Mdina signatures and one photo of the actual item to go with it. Then an approximate   time scale could be established for each type of signature . This might have been suggested before , so apologies if it has already been discussed .

Michael Hill says in his Michael Harris  book   "Most members of staff signed bases Mdina with family and friends sometimes joining in to help with large orders"
