I think that's looking very positive, Angela. If we can find the trinket set in a catalogue it would clinch it for certain. :)

To summarise:

There are under Mystery set #012 two different candlesticks. One appears to be Rippen, the other isn't and has a flange below the cup, along with a patterned shaft and a differently shaped base. So, either the pattern was amended for some reason, or there is another pattern name for the flanged version.

The tray is a match for the Asta kabaret tray as we've looked at before but we've not found an Asta tray without the dividers.

We have not found the lidded pots or the ring holder in a catalogue so far.

Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

That link is only accessible to friends of the person on Facebook... perhaps ask if you can use the photos with a credit

Thanks Christine, that saved me a wee job.  :-*

Angela, may I add Leonie's photo to the gallery or should I ask her directly?

I found a clearer version of the label that Leonie's piece carries, so we can see what it says better. Interestingly it does not say Sowerby, just TYNESYDE GLASSWARE MADE IN ENGLAND, so I wonder if pieces so labelled were made for a certain outlets?

The same label was seen on a Sowerby cucumber dish.  The more usual round label with Sowerby's on it may be seen in GlassGallery here: http://www.yobunny.org.uk/glassgallery/displayimage.php?pos=-9999

I have also now found Leonie's label on a full set of Sowerby 2552 butterfly pattern.... interesting!

This butterfly butter appears to have a similar shaped label too.... https://picclick.co.uk/Sowerby-Butterfly-Pink-Frosted-Glass-Butter-Dish-Art-351944292301.html
