Miniature Paperweight ID Help. ID = Strathearn
« on: July 23, 2015, 09:25:38 PM »
Hi,
I hope you folks won't get tired of my posts for help, I think I have about 10 left that I'll need help with.
This one is small, 1 1/2" diameter x 1"H. The base has ridges rather than polished smooth, in the last photo it has what looks like inclusions and lots of bubbles in the glass.
Any information appreciated.
Mary

Hi Mary,

the mini weight is typical for Strathearn miniatures,
fire polished bottom, many different canes, very variable in sizes, to compare:

Richard More's Website is dedicated to Strathearn weights most profundly,
http://strathearn.smugmug.com/Strathearn-Paperweights

the mini type is called P 9,

Kind regards E.
