Help with this tortoise shell glass dressing jar
« on: August 02, 2015, 11:03:41 PM »
Hi,
A tortoise shell glass that Really looks the real deal.
I'm trying to find out more about it.
I've had suggestions it could age from Edwardian, right up to the 1970's and from countries as far afield as Poland to Italy. I read here, that a lot of tortoise shell glass is from India!
I've not been able to find anything which looks very similar to this.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank you
