Heya folks.
For annyone that is familiar with Brian Lonsway (1940-2001) and his work, little introduction is needed. For those who are not familiar, Brian Lonsway was a monumental fixture in the Toledo US art glass scene. Quite often described as "Larger Than Life" his glass work is just as over the top and are truly magnificent looking pieces.
I have one of his vases/sculptures up for sale. It is indeed what could be considered a signature piece for him as he was quite fond of blowing items with an intricate interior web structure. The piece was purchased at an estate sale from the estate of the one and original owner.
Measures approximately 6" tall x 5" in diameter. Signed and dated "82".
The vase is in excellent condition absolutely free from any damage. There is a slight "water stain" on the base interior but that may well soak/rinse away. In any event it has zero effect on the display of the piece.
It's currently listed on Ebay at $299.95 and $19.95 for North America wide tracked and insured shipping. Ships out of Toronto, Canada.
