Got the proper mark to the base, was it made after a trip to the local  ?  :o ;D ;D

The original poster (Keith) posted a compound sentence ending in a question mark.  Had they two parts been separated by a period or semicolon or even a "but", I might have surmised that the first part was affirmative while the second part was sarcastic.

Since I live in a town that has no pubs or bars and does have a restaurant called "The Local", I missed the point.  It wasn't helped by side comments about the eBay seller's username, the political allegiance of the quality controller, etc.

The Glass Message Board is a fantastic source of information read by people around the world.  It doesn't hurt to make the effort to communicate clearly.

dunno what all the palavers about it all made sense to me anyways this is the 2nd weight like this I have now seen, one was at a local(ish) to me antique centre around xmas time had a small chip to base and was marked up at 28 quid if I remember correctly , when I first saw the weight I thought it looked very poor workmanship , sure I have pics of it on my phone somewhere , anyways it was gone the next time I visited the centre so someone must have seen the bargain in it for that price
who needs Revatio when you have a collection of Monart
