Blue glass perfume bottle - maker?
« on: August 17, 2015, 12:30:14 PM »
My first post, so please forgive me if I make any errors in site etiquette. I've been meaning to join for ages, but never seemed to get around to the registration part. Sorry.

My wife collects perfume bottles, and we bought the bottle below yesterday from a brocante in France. It's a handsome piece of glass, and very nicely made. It stands approximately 16 cms high (including atomiser connection) and has a diameter of approximately 9 cms at the widest extent. The pontil has not been ground totally smooth, but is neatly finished. The colour is a deep ultramarine blue with swirls of browns and reds.

There is a very clear signature which I have highlighted in the final image - clear but illegible! The frustrating thing is, I know I've seen the mark before, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. Not being at home I don't have my usual references with me, so any suggestions gratefully received.
