Going back to a question I asked a while ago I presume this is one, etched RB'y to the base and sticker to the side.  ;D

Yes Royal Brierly - using canes from Murano. And according to Bob Hall, in his book, World Paperweights: Millefiori & Lampwork, based on his discussion with the company, the weights were made in 1997.

Your weight is almost a match to one of two that Bob illustrated in his book. The canes and their positions in the rows all match. The only major difference is that the second row (from the centre) in yours has 11 canes and the one in the book has 12 canes. Both examples in the book had a Royal Brierly label.

Thanks Kevin, without sounding a bit thick  ::) when you say using canes do you mean the whole weight is from Murano or just the canes and RB'y did the 'casing' if that's the correct term  ::) ;D

Royal Brierley made the weights, using Murano canes.
