Topic: Low iron

As basic definition, Low Iron is also said extra clear glass.
Should we always assume that extra clear glass is necessarily low iron, low  in content of iron?
I have heard conflicting opinion that for solar protective glass (IGU with solar protective  soft coating #2) with requirement of neutral appearance, basic glass panes more neutral and transparent than clear glass are used but their raw composition is not exactly low iron, as to say that the raw components are not so pure with a minimal content of iron.
Anyone can put some light?

This technical question relates to flat glass which is not a field we cover. I suggest you contact Guardian glass or Pilkington who manufacture it under the name of optiwhite.

Thanks for the clarification.
Unfortunately manufacturer would avoid the question and would not be so specific. They would just say it is low iron.
I need a more specialist advice
do you know any other forum on technical glass issue in architecture?
