Topic: Lalique Cow

Hi there

I have this Lalique Cow paperweight that I was given off my sister (she didnt know it was Lalique) and was wondering if anyone knows why it is this colour?  All the others I have researched are clear frosted glass and does it make it any more valuable?

I see that they are/were a line of ships. That and the Lalique perfume bottles. Were they sold in the ships gift shop or possibly given as souvenirs? The colored one looks much nicer that the plain glass and I would pay a little more for one. Also I do not know if they were sold with out a company name as a regular production item? Bob

I know it was made for Rotterdam Lloyd Royal Dutch Mail Circa 1938.
