IDENTIFICATION OF LARGE UNLEADED CRYSTAL BOWL
« on: October 29, 2015, 04:15:22 AM »
Hi Board!  I need help in identifying this bowl which has the quality of Kosta Boda in appearance, quality and chime. The pattern could either be cow parsley or perhaps papyrus but have drawn a blank with all searches. I had considered Mantsalan Lasisepat but haven't been able to come up with much from this small Finnish glassworks. Many thanks in anticipation of your input.  Barry

Can't make out the details on yours too well, but I had a plate with a similar cow parsley design which turned out to be a Nanny Still design for Rosenthal Studio Linie. Have a look closely at your bowl and see if there's a Rosenthal mark anywhere on it.

Hi Steven, many thanks for your quick response!  Yes, you are right!  I've found many similar items under Rosenthal Studio Linie but without your help I would not have considered Rosenthal or Nanny Still.  A big thank you!  Barry
