Unidentified green vase with applied handle
« on: October 22, 2017, 10:34:45 PM »
I've had this vase for a while and I'm undecided if it's worth keeping. Not sure if it's an old piece or a badly made more modern piece! The glass is relatively thin, it weighs 166g, stand 12cm tall, 7.5cm diameter at its widest. It has a kind of rustic charm but would be interested to hear anyone's thoughts about it.

My opinion is that despite the 'strap' style of handle, the colour is the giveaway, and its age is not what it would like us to believe.

Whether its old or whether its young, keep it if you like it  -  if you don't like it then it should go  -  remember Mr. Morris' adage :)
