Is this Whitefriars?
« on: July 31, 2017, 10:04:12 AM »
Hello, I bought this lovely vase the other day and im trying to identify it. I have a suspicion it is a Whitefriars look-alike but would love some confirmation on this or suggestions of its origins. Thanks in advance :-)

Its 8.5" tall and 3.25' wide. The rim on the insie feel sharp and a little nibbled.

Hi and welcome to the board. I don't think Whitefriars made a square bark vase, but I could be wrong as it's not my area of interest really. It might be worth looking through this excellent blog page of Whitefriars wannabees and lookalikes though: http://whitefriarsglasswannabees.blogspot.co.uk/
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Hi and welcome. Your vase is not Whitefriars, sorry, it could be Ingrid.
