More PINK Glass -- Murano ??
« on: November 16, 2015, 04:53:36 AM »
Hi, just got this today.  I think it is Murano but a couple things are different.  First the base is a bit different than normal ( but I did have an Orange bowl with this type of bottom on it ) that Anita had also said Murano.....and the other thing is the Flip.  It just looks a bit different, and looks a little more chunky ......than flowing.  If that makes any Sense.  Base does show some wear.  Still leaning to Murano.

Size is:
~ 11.5 inches long
~ 9 inches wide
~ About 3.5 inches deep.

Thanks in Advance.  Any info appreciated for a maker / year.

That would be my best bet Rose, alabastro by the look of it.

Thanks JOHN for your reply.  :-*

Anita had said on another Forum that she thought it looked like Fratelli Toso.  She know her stuff too!!  Guess will have to see if one is ever found with a label......as they always say BUT  I can not find a shell bowl with a fold of 4 bumps flipped over....but never say never I guess.....LOL

I do see some resemblances with this one here ( Color, made ??) ... In my opinion only.... ???

FT would have been my other bet! Anita's opinions are well informed...

It is a large bowl you have there but I doubt that would help narrow the possibilities.
