Any thoughts on this one, the glass seems streaky when under uv not uniform.

7 1/2 inches in height 3 1/2 inches across the base.

There is no m mark, I do agree it feels modern though.

The mark will be on the body not the base. It's just underneath his tail I think

When I was looking Mosser up, I found that they stopped using the M mark around '86.
It does look very Mosser.

It still might be worth your time searching their products. I had a go, but I'm afraid I gave up without struggling terribly far.
(I'm not good at refining searches to weed out the stuff I don't want to see and end up going doolally.)

Must admit, I did think there is an 'M' mark, second photo on the edge of the base, by the tip of the tail, as Christine mentions.

I believe you Chris. I can see no M mark. 
I'm not quite sure how this got postively sorted in the title, I do strongly suspect it could well be Mosser, but we haven't ascertained anything beyond opinion.
