I have two more bowls I can't identify....

The second has been sitting in my "what am I?" area for too long. I can't decide if it's just nice quality department store stuff or something a little better. There is absolutely no name or mark on it anywhere. I've been all over it with an eyeglass. It's iridescent in patches on the outside and plain inside. It's 12 cms tall and 20 cms across the top.

Any suggestions very welcome!

hmmm the blue bowl reminds me a little of Royal Brierley Studio but the pattern's not quite 'right'.

Thanks for the replies so far.  :)

Pip - the blue bowl is a little like the Royal Brierley iridescent pieces, but the different shades of iridescent are quite clearly delineated, whereas in the Royal Brierley the colours blend and merge together.

I look forward to more thoughts on these bowls.

I have just found this vase on ebay, apparently by Royal Brierley.

Item 280104534432

The irridescent pattern on the vase is very similar to my bowl at the foot. Might the bowl be Royal Brierley after all?

Item 2 Iridescent Bowl
I have seen this shape many times online as well as at antique & glass fairs. I have no doubts that it is Royal Brierley. I have several pieces and the pattern does vary in its sharpness.
