Art Deco Val St Lambert vase for show.

I could only find one other vase the same but in a larger size which dated it to around 1926.

Height 12cm or 4.75"
Weight 1080gm.

Thanks Roy

I always like these rose bowls/vases,  this model's called Palacio, catalogue number S/291 and it's designed by Joseph Simon for the 1926 catalogue 'Cristaux de Fantaisie'.  You could get them with a metal or pressed glass grill, the latter one would allow the cut decoration on the rim to be visible.

Great find and shape.  Thank you for adding the size and weight.  It  gives perspective on the weight to size ratio when trying to compare other cut to clear pieces.

Thank you both.

The diameter of the vase is 5" making it the smaller of the 3 vases.

Thanks Roy

These pieces are always pretty heavy for their size.

It was available in a cut to clear version or a colour overhere called topaze. Often the topaze crystal pieces were doublé in red, bleu and a particular colour used in the years around 1930, called 'bleu-pétrole', a shade of bleu leaning towards turquoise.

Just for show, a plain topaze version of this model.
