Baccarat dish and stand.
« on: May 08, 2008, 05:24:49 PM »
I am new to message forums, so hope this arrives with the picture attached. I inherited the dish and silver plated stand from my grandmother.  The dish has Baccarat Depose stamped on the base.  Can anybody give me and idea of the date of the piece and a rough idea as to its value.

Many thanks.

You can do alot of research online, I recently purchased a what I thought was an antique bowl, which turned out to be one of the earliest Baccarat pieces. Go see a reputable antiques appraiser, and have it appraised and authenticated, and maybe insured.
