Topic: Can anyone help with this small (but weighty) candle holder?

Hi All. Can anyone help id this little (but weighty) textured clear glass candle holder. I've no idea whether it's a modern / mid-century piece but hoping someone might be able to help. I found it in the North-West of England - I just thought it looked interesting. Very solid it weighs over 500 gms and measures 8 cms in diameter at the base x 6.5 cms tall. The base is unlike anything I've seen before - polished but not sheer, it is almost concave - no distinct polished pontil. I call it my mountain candle holder as it is shaped somewhat like a stylized mountain with 6 'ribs' running from top to bottom. A textured finish (German / Swedish?). It is designed to hold a 1" candle not a tea light. Anyone any ideas? Thanks
