Topic: Dartington Glass cuboid paperweight with letter B

Any ideas about this one would be appreciated.  A cuboid Dartington Glass paperweight with the letter "B".  It has the remains of an old label.  2.25" x 1.5" x 1.75".  The base is slightly convex.
I can't see mention of one in online catalogues and have never seen one of these before.
It seems strange to have a letter.  I can't imagine that they made them with every single letter of the alphabet

It's for holding down the bits of paper to be filed away in the B-for-Bin? 

The texture looks to be an old one, I've got a square-ish pot with the same texture, which I have had since the early '70s, it was a christmas present from mother, just after Studio One, a really trendy gift-shop, opened in Edinburgh. My pot is a Frank Thrower thing.

Why not?
Caithness issued in 1981 a series of "Initial" paperweights with a central letter cane. I have not seen all letters of the alphabet so far, but quite a few.
Using your favourite search engine to check for "Dartington paperweight letter" images you'll find closed ebay auctions of Dartington D and I letter paperweights.
