A good start for classic antique French paperweights by Baccarat, Clichy and Saint Louis is Paul Hollister's Encyclopedia, but it was written around 50 years ago and so does not include research since then.  Paul (in common with other authors of his time) tended to attribute every paperweight he came across to a factory he had heard of...which leads to significant errors.  The more we find out, the more that 'unknown (French / Belgian / English / whatever) factory' becomes the appropriate attribution.
