Please can you help id the maker or country or time-line, or anything about my urchin style frit paperweight with control bubble marking segments. About 2 and 3/4" diameter. Thank you.

Hi, welcome.

This weight was made at the Scottish company: Strathearn Glass and was produced from about 1965 to 1979. At 2.75 inch diameter, it is the "P28 Aurora Large" version.

The Strathearn "Sea Urchin" design was different as it had vertical rows of sand, rather than bubbles, making up the pattern. See here for an example.
