As Paul said, we were all novel novices once, and many of us are complete novices in anything other than one small area, even then we make mistakes.
It's nothing to worry about - it's how we all learn.
I think we might need oldglassman to have a peek.

I too had hoped Peter (Oldglassman) might have seen this thread and given an opinion - possibly the fact that these glasses are not C18 has persuaded him otherwise.             If you're in the country Peter, would be very grateful for your thoughts? :)

Hi ,
          I am afraid I have to agree with what has already been said , that these glasses are not 18th century and are more than likely 20th century.
