It's fabulous - all lava like and drippy, or like stalagmites and stalactites, inside a cave.
I did get sent a sneak preview, so I'm not on the floor atm. I was earlier. ;D

Also mine measures 14cm x 13cm so larger than normal so has to have been blown into a different mould :) can anyone else check their bottle sizes?

I have wondered if perhaps the moulds were created from 4 seperate sides at times, in order to create different profiles. I have one which is rectangular in profile - thin on one side.
You'll have to give me time to find and check measurements, and perhaps track down the ones I've sold.
The ones I still have require a certain amount of mountaineering to access them.

so the mould could be moved in and out for different sizes? The only moulds I have seen before are hinged and everything is the same size.

It was just some speculation I was having some years ago, because I did have a lot of things that were all different sizes. I remember getting in a bit of a tangle trying to work out if I could use where the textures actually fitted in on them, to see if this was a possibilty or of I could learn anything from that, but I couldn't.

I've never seen the moulds, I don't know what they looked like at all.

Here are a few other examples for comparison, the three bottles in the first picture appear to have been produced from the same mould, with the texture matching across all three examples with their width/depth also being uniform. Please note that this is an old picture and the bottles are not lined up in the same direction.

The second picture shows a couple of early examples (again not with their texture aligned in the photo). On close inspection, the moulded texture on both of these bottles match, they also match the texture on the three bottles shown in the first picture. However, whilst both bottles are the same depth, their widths are different, so this would seem to indicate some degree of flexibility with at least one side of the mould used.

Another skinny tall, this time amethyst.

The squat vases in the group photo are around 17 by 13 and 20cm tall.

At least part of the tall bottle mould mould ended up at Mtarfa: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,39208.0.html
