Not Murano but "Made in Italy", KB appear to be based in Italy and exporting giftware in general.

Perhaps this thread should be moved to Glass as it clearly goes wider than Murano?

The dog does look a lot like a Fenton iridescent slag piece. Is it iridescent? I can't see the dog very well in the picture.

This reminds me that I saw a Fenton piece that was made for one of the Murano companies. I can't remember which company now. I wish I had paid more attention now. It was one of those attributions that I took with a grain of salt at the time -- maybe true, maybe not. Did people at Fenton make some things for Murano companies?

Opalescent, not iridescent. Larger pictures in the Zoo, I only post thumbnails from the Zoo. But I asked the owner to look in.

Dog and cat owner here  ;D.  Frank asked for a white background and that washes out these nice pieces.  They are a nice opalescent.  I have posted a question about the Fenton connection on my board.  I'll let you know what they say.  Frank, I hope you don't mind me posting the picture here but I wanted them to see the quality.

Much better pictures! It's easier to pick out the details. The dog looks a lot less Fenton, though I still don't know what it is. Do you think the cat and maybe the dog was mold blown or poured? The cat's face looks so perfect.

I think they were poured, they both have a seam .  My Fenton person said neither one looks anything like a Fenton animal.  She's never seen them before.

The dog really has opal fire in it, in the light it gets that nice glow, real pretty.

They are your pics Janice, I only post larger ones outside the Zoo if the owner asks me too. The Zoo pics are a bit too big for the forum though so I have to resize them.

I've learned from someone who owns some KB import catalogs, that they imported from countries other than Italy, including Japan! I've never actually seen such a piece, but they may be out there...

Almost all the KB stuff I've seen looks like FT, but I have seen some kind of junky looking millefiori pieces with the KB label.

Here's another molded animal. Auction doesn't show the label, but says it is KB Italy. Ebay item  270229049695 .

I've never heard of a connection between KB and Fenton. However, there was an importing company called Nora Fenton that handled some Murano glass (in addition to other glass and china) in case anyone was confused by that.

It has now been established that Koscherak Brothers also handles American Pottery & Glass.
