I got this paperweight as part of a lot of miscellaneous items at an auction recently. I'm very new to paperweights, although my father has a few that I always admired. I have seen some photos of Boston and Sandwich or Clichy paperweights that had a single flower on a clear ground, but I think the quality of this weight is not good enough for it to be either of those makers. I just joined the forum, but I've already looked at it enough to think that you'll probably say this is Chinese.

Is that correct?
As you can probably see in the photos, there are a lot of bubbles, which make a sort of uber-bubble at the level of the flower. (Sorry, I don't know paperweight terminology.) There is some crazing to the surface of the glass. There is enough shelfware on the bottom that I think it's fairly old. Anyway, I like it.
