Is this really a Murano generic label? or another fake!

I see a lot of Murano every day, but I never saw this one before so I guess it's a fake. Anybody with info?

Hi there....I have seen this label a few times before.  I do not know, but in my opinion ( ONLY ) I do not believe this to be a TRUE Murano label or glass piece.  Why?? 

~ It looks newer
~ It says Cristal Murano...... in which Murano is just a *use* of a word here
~ It says " Made in Italy "......and in my opinion, if it is True Murano glass -- it would say MADE IN MURANO as that is where the Murano Furnaces are.  Other Non-murano furnaces are just located * in Italy *

That is like label (or ads) where is say "Made in the STYLE of Murano Glass "  Seems if companies put the word MURANO ANYWHERE on the label -- it is kinda deceiving as one might think it is Murano.  In My Opinion

Hmm. There are plenty of genuine labels (i.e. generic labels) which would not pass all of your criteria.
My own doubts include the fact that
* The actual label is poorly printed and off-centred.
* Stars are not a usual decor for borders in Italy and these are oddly BIG stars!
* Most generic labels are on metallic foil (or clear plastic in more recent years) Therefore they can last a while, but this looks like a raw paper surface.
* The piece wants to be 1980's or later, but I have not seen this particular label in any reputable channel (including our own GMB label libraries) or any of the reputable auctions, archives, which might suggest that it is only being used at the ebay level where fakes are unchallenged? Very few manufacturers were still using generic labels in this period since it was generally considered that even a bad factory 'brand' is better than a generic 'Made in Murano'.
(Yes, OK there are still generic labels on some tourist pieces that nobody wants to attach their name to, cats and fish and clowns etc. but this is more of a 'decorative object')
A genuine label which has been in circulation should have been found and identified before now?
