Is this a piece of Scandinavian glass - can anyone id?
« on: October 01, 2016, 06:56:07 AM »
Hi. Hope someone can help. Found in Yorkshire UK, I initially thought this was a piece of Scandinavian mid-century glass but am now having doubts and begining to think that it's maybe a piece of Scandinavian 'influenced' glass. This is mainly because I've not been able to find anything that matches the shape or the colour. It's a piece of blown glass that measures 15 cms (6 inches) tall x 6.5 cms (almost 2.5 inches) in diameter and weighs just over 280 gms (10 oz). If anyone recognizes it, or could point me in the right direction much appreciated. Many thanks
