Paul S. has kindly sent me some images of Sowerby glass tableware design representations which I have been able to match with their corresponding Sowerby pattern numbers:
RD 294379 of 10 September 1875 - Parcel 6 is a match for butter dish pattern 1116 (page 5, pattern book XI of 1885). Oddly, not designated as a registered design in the pattern book.
RD 299053 of 9 March 1876 - Parcel 7 matches pattern 1147 sugar (page 48, pattern book XI of 1885).
RD 299054 of 9 March 1876 - Parcel 7 matches pattern 1141 sugar (page 48, pattern book XI of 1885).
This seems to be the first (and definitive) correlation between Sowerby patterns 1116, 1141 and 1147 and their RD numbers. I will add them to the Glass Queries Gallery shortly.
Unfortunately, I don't have any reference photos of actual glassware for patterns 1116, 1141 or 1147, so is possible that someone on the GMB has photos to show, Please?
