Square, dimpled carafe with rigaree. Help with ID, please.
« on: December 11, 2016, 01:00:02 PM »
Happy Sunday, all.
I have this square, dimpled (on all sides) carafe. It also has a square neck and is gathered like a pouch, much like the Powell leather flask carafe, which is the closest I can get to a look-a-like.
It is mouth blown with a lovely polished pontil scar, with plenty of wear to the base.
It is 7" high and the base is roughly 3.25" square (difficult to measure as it's a rounded square).
Any suggestion greatly appreciated, as always.
TIA

If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.
