Sabo? Studio vase - ID = Didier Saba, Biot France

Hi all. I've had this vase for a number of years and I'm still to find any information about who "Sabo" is and where it was made. Could anyone help please? TIA?

Well that didn't take long lol  :D. Thank you so much Anne, looks like you're right! I do now remember the seller saying something about France and someone living on a boat.

There's one on EBay with the same colour scheme http://www.ebay.fr/itm/351939614096?rmvSB=true but you'll get a sore neck looking at it too long.

He's French all right, still has his workshop there but I know nothing about a boat.

Brilliant! Thanks for the link Anne :). The seller might have been romanticising about the boat :). Pate de vere isn't something I'd have considered.
