Tumbler with etched decoration
« on: January 18, 2017, 06:15:58 PM »
Can anyone help me identify these glasses or the pattern?
Feel quite light and thin, I'm guessing Edwardian - post.
Can anyone help?  ;D

you could be in for a long haul on this one Ben - and most likely never.              Machine acid etching is such a vast area and with a prodigious quantity of designs and made throughout Europe and North America from 1860 and well into the C20.              The shape of the tumbler strikes me as unusual  -  whether that's just my limited experience of these things or that this is a genuinely less common shape I'm not sure  -  it's possible the shape may give someone a clue as to origin.

Sorry this is of absolutely no help.
