This is a request from a lady i fixed images for before. She can't get herself on the board just now because of phone-y-computery problems I do not understand, but she would love to know the origins of this bowl.
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

hi Sue........    In the States, from the 1920s to 1950s,  there was something called 'Elegant Glass' - another of the Depression era products, but 'Elegant' was supposedly a better quality product than the bog standard 'Depression' stuff..............     Anyway, one of the Elegant designs was a pattern knocked out by Cambridge Glass called 'Imperial Hunt Scene', which had riders jumping gates etc., not a million miles from the image on your friend's piece of glass.

Just a thought.
