Thanks both, the more I look at this the more I see, really difficult to get a good shot but look at the detail, the sky and sea are fantastic  :o ;D ;D

You're a lucky chap Keith. I bought a piece of his work last year, but close to paid retail IMHO. His work is definately on a par with Lawrence, and even Simon Whistler, however not as yet as frighteningly expensive.

As was said by Sue, it is 'just' the blank that Steuben supplied; they supply to many engravers because of the purity of their glass - Alison Kinnaird included. So yes a good piece of glass, but the stipple engraving is the thing here ;) :)
