It is Davidson pattern no. 82, and is shown in their catalogues of unregistered designs from between 1880 and 1890. An uncommon pattern.
Appears in the 'Cans' section of the catalogues (which I think we would now more commonly call 'Tankards'). Most of the other cans are shown with their nominal capacity - half pint or pint, sometimes both - but this can is described as being a 'toy', hence its very small size.
